Operations Management Trainee Program Week 19

The Heinz plant in Massillon, Ohio, produces Smart Ones frozen lunches. It also packages some TGI Friday’s frozen meals, as well as Ore-Ida fires. It is a large facility that produces hundreds of thousands of products on each line each day.
Due to the large scale production at our Massillon facility, there are always tasks that need to be completed and room to grow here. Employees in the Massillon facility can expect to get involved with various roles in production, quality assurance, continuous improvement, warehousing and maintenance. The goals of each department are not mutually exclusive of each other, resulting in natural opportunities to delve into a broad spectrum of projects.
Within the first few months of arriving at this facility the trainees are fully integrated into real production roles with real production responsibilities. The atmosphere is welcoming and allows trainees to offer feedback, and truly drive their careers where they want to go.

However, while the food (and weather) here is frozen, the people are always heartwarming. =)
