This is it, everyone. This is the time we’ve all been waiting for. By this point, each of the Ops Trainees has moved out of Chicago and settled into our new locations, where we can’t wait for our first day at our plants. It is now that we begin a new chapter in our careers with Kraft Heinz.
As we look forward to the exciting things coming our way, this period of transition is also a good time to reflect on where we have been. In our last week together, we visited plants in Fremont, OH and Springfield, MO. During our two day visit in each of the plants, we were able to get a behind-the-scenes look at the daily routines of the plant workers, and get a better understanding for what will be expected of us in the weeks to come. One of the most gratifying experiences for me was being able to work alongside the operators at the plants. It helped me realize how critically important it is to build good relationships with your employees and inspire them to achieve great things.
Over the past several weeks, we have built strong bonds with each other, and together we have grown. While this makes it difficult to say goodbye, we cannot forget the significance of the connections we have created. These are the kinds of relationships that we can continue to leverage for the rest of our careers at Kraft Heinz. Having this unique opportunity to build strong relationships and learn alongside such a great group of future leaders in our company is something none of us should take for granted, and it was an experience that I will never forget.
