Three weeks have passed since we began our first project rotation, and it’s hard to believe that we’re already one-half of the way done. All of the corporate management trainees have been hard at work in different roles within the company, learning how the company operates and how to make a meaningful contribution to the business. Our lunch breaks have taken on a new level of excitement, as everyone shares the latest challenges and triumphs that they’ve experienced within their roles.
For my first project rotation, I’ve been working with our Beverages and Snack Nuts finance team. It has been a great quantitative challenge, as I’m looking at systems and creating new reports. I’ve been working closely with my manager and it has been essential in all my progress. Also, I have had the opportunity to talk with different parts of the business, especially Finance and Sales.
Above all, I’ve enjoyed being a part of a team within the Kraft Heinz family. While I’m directly responsible for my project, I also get to partake in the day-to-day work of the Beverages and Snack Nuts finance team. Being able to sit in on meetings to discuss monthly results has given me new insight into how our business operates.
As we turn toward the second half of our project rotations, everyone is eager to make more progress and learn more about the company. I’m personally looking forward to sharing the insights that I’ve learned with the other Business Units!
