Since my last blog post I have been placed in our Rogers, AR at our field sales office where we work to sell our products into retailers across the country. Getting to know everyone in the office has been a real pleasure, and my coworkers have been more than willing to help whenever I’ve needed them. While I have a steady stream of work that comes in, my most significant project has been regarding our line of sauces. I had to develop a deep understanding of each of the products in our portfolio and create a sales story on how we can increase the number of products we sell in stores. Needless to say, there is quite a bit of emphasis put into our efforts and this is just one of many projects we will be completing. I am very proud of the work I am getting done. I am determined to do my very best and produce results that I can be proud to present.
I’ve also been spending time with my coworkers both in and out of the office. Several members of my department went to a Northwest Arkansas Naturals game, the Kansas City Royals minor league affiliate, this past Monday. It was a great way for us to bond outside of work and spend some time together. It was especially great for me as a new employee to meet more people and make more friends.
Overall, my experiences in Arkansas have been great so far. While there was certainly a learning curve as I began my time here, I quickly caught on with the help of my coworkers. Creating sales stories is something that will be a very significant part of my work, and getting off to a good start will help project me forward and give me the confidence to continue getting excellent results.
