Operations Management Trainee Program Week 22 2016

The month of June has been very exciting at the Jacksonville plant. I continue to work on my yellow belt project and am transitioning to supervisor responsibilities. In this role, I will learn more about the people and processes at the plant. This new role, as well as plenty of new faces around the office, has made June an amazing month. However the most exciting part was the visit we had from the executive team. It was great to see and hear from the leaders who drive this company and discuss ideas for our plant.

I also experienced my first tropical storm (tropical storm Colin). As I was just about to leave work, I received word that two tornadoes had touched down in the direction I planned to go. We all took shelter in the plant for about thirty minutes, but afterwards the weather cleared and the sky was bright as ever. This picture is of me and another trainee at The Players Championship.
