It’s been three months since I graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia (MIZ-ZOU!!!). In that time I have started a new job as a Sales Management Trainee at Kraft Heinz, went through the initial two weeks of onboarding in Chicago, and moved to my field sales office in Tampa, FL. After being in Tampa for a month, I have learned more about sales than I ever did in school.
I’m on the Category Leadership Team, and as soon as I moved down here, I have been able to hit the ground running and jump right into my project. Of course this meant asking a lot of questions along the way. Ever since I got here everyone has been so eager to help me get acclimated to my role. Not only have my coworkers taken the time to explain different aspects of the job, but they have also planned numerous happy hours and fun events to help me and the other two trainees get to know everyone in the office as well as the city of Tampa.
Being a part of this program has been a wonderful opportunity. These past six weeks I have grown tremendously both professionally and personally, and I can’t wait to see what the next four months bring.
P.S. My third weekend here my cohorts and I went to Universal Studios in Orlando. It was AMAZING!
