This was our last week of training. It was great to be back in the classroom with the rest of the cohort. Monday was one of the best of days of training — mostly because it was filled with team building. First, we started the day with an improv challenge where we participated in a wide array of improv activities. The challenge was focused on how to be better leaders. After improv, we all grabbed lunch and went on an architectural boat tour. I had never been on a boat tour, and I will definitely recommend it to anyone in Chicago.
After some great cohort bonding, the rest of the week was filled with Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training. The training equipped us with key tools to make us efficient in our roles, while looking for efficiencies within the company. The yellow belt training was valuable and will be something that we can take to any role, as it had a corporate focus.
After yellow belt training, our classroom time with our cohort was officially over and we are all moving on to our second projects. I will be heading back to Marketing to work on beverages. This is an awesome opportunity to work on some key brands, and I can’t wait to get started.
