We’re beyond the halfway mark of our first project rotation and many people are honing in on their final recommendation. My first rotation has been working in Grocery Sales specifically in the Kraft Shelf Stable Salad Dressings. I’ve been tasked with deep diving into the category to help plan for our sales portfolio by customer for the coming year. My day to day tasks include sitting in on sales calls, strategy meetings with the marketing team, and data analysis to accurately plan appropriate portfolio updates. At this stage in the project I have put together a full picture of where the market gaps are and am now progressing into the stage where I lay out an action plan to be used in my final recommendation and report out in two weeks.
Outside of the office our cohort is still very close and regularly plans activities for us to do as a group. On Mondays we head to North Ave Beach after work to compete in a beach volleyball league. On Wednesday this week a group of us all went to the Cubs game against the Pittsburgh Pirates after work. With Labor Day weekend approaching we’re all looking forward to getting outside and to the beach while the weather is still warm and even have a BBQ planned.
