Manufacturing Management Trainee Program Week 10 2017

Last week I worked on third shift for the first time since being with Kraft Heinz. Going in on third shift helped me make significant progress on my project, and I observed a lot of opportunity to increase efficiencies. After working the whole shift, it was eye opening to see the differences compared to the other shifts. Working with a new crew was helpful in getting different perspectives of what worked and what didn’t work. Seeing the diversity of the shifts has helped me moved forward with my project!

This week I am starting a role in processing where I will deal with every part of the process in making our dinner products. I get to work with materials, maintenance, production, etc. from start to finish. It will be a great opportunity to learn more about the process to gain more knowledge about my department.
