Business Development Trainee Program 2018 Week 5

Another great week in the books here in Orlando, Florida for the Business Development Trainees! The last time I wrote a blog post, I finished up an amazing 10 days of training at the HQ in Chicago and was both nervous and excited for what was to come next. Though, after a few weeks of in-store placement and building strong relationships with many different store managers, I feel very confident that the next few months are going to be very beneficial for both myself and the stores as we have the same goal in mind: continuing to emphasize Kraft Heinz and taking advantage of all that it has to offer. More recently, I had the opportunity of working with an Associate Manager as I did one of my store walks. Not only was this very helpful, as any remaining questions I had were answered, but I also improved my insight on several of the stores that I work with on a daily basis. One of the many great things about working at Kraft Heinz is that they do such a great job of creating a sense of community in which I feel comfortable reaching out to people that I want to learn more about themselves, their roles, and anyone that has additional advice in being the best in my role that I can be!

Orlando is such a young, vibrant city with so many awesome things going on every day! Aside from the array of world-class theme parks, there are so many live shows, outlets and pickup sports that are available for everyone to enjoy. Anna Tovar, the other trainee that is down in Orlando with me, and I have gone to several beaches and outdoor events that keep us active. Though, one of things that we are most looking forward to is finally getting the chance to get more involved with our community by giving back. Tomorrow, we will be taking part in a day of service where the Tampa Team and Orlando team join forces and spend time volunteering at the “Meals On Wheels” program. This will not only be extremely rewarding for the Kraft Heinz teams but also for the greater good of the company as we look to always improve the communities around us in as many ways possible!
