Hello! Lauren Zisholz here checking in from the Chicago headquarters for the week eight recap. I am a Tulane University alumnae, originally from Okemos, Michigan. I am a member of the Chicago North In-Store Partner team and Business Development Trainee 2018 cohort.
I can’t believe that I have already been working at Kraft Heinz for two months now. So far in Chicago, I have attended a second city comedy show, a Lollapalooza after show concert, a few musicals (Waitress and Hamilton), the millennium-park summer music series, and even got to watch Lollapalooza from our office on the 76th floor (you can still hear and feel the music). The Chicago office always has something exciting going on for employees to participate in- whether it’s a birthday party or a new product tasting.
The past week has been extremely busy. I had my first “coaching report” with my in-store sales manager. It went well; It was helpful to hear his input while showing him the many displays I worked hard to implement and maintain in my stores. I also just presented the first portion of my “power window” data analytics focused project. For this project, generally, I have used third-party market research data to analyze how effective our grocery categories performed during July 4thweekend. It has been challenging, but it was great to communicate the insights that I had uncovered over the past few weeks to the sales team.
I am looking forward to furthering my project findings in the coming months and continuing to increase incremental sales and build relationships in my stores. As always, I am happy to be part of the Kraft Heinz family!
