Hi Everyone!
I’m Anna Fabbri, checking in for the 2019 blog this week! As a Chicago-land native and recent University of Illinois graduate, I am thrilled to return to this great city and begin my journey at Kraft Heinz!
It was an eventful second week of learning and training at the Kraft Heinz HQ office, where we spent this past week focused on marketing. To kick off the week, Kraft Heinz welcomed our new CEO. We were even able to enjoy a hotdog alongside the Wienermobile during lunch!
Throughout the week, we heard from multiple members of the marketing team, including some that had just flown back from the Cannes International Festival of Creativity, where Kraft Heinz was globally recognized and took home 12 Lions! We were also introduced to former trainees and had the opportunity to hear about their experiences and ask them dozens of questions. I do not have a background in marketing, so this training was truly beneficial for me. I enjoyed seeing how marketing is structured at Kraft Heinz and understanding how it interacts with the different functional groups within the company.
To wrap up the week, our entire trainee cohort was able to attend a Rise Against Hunger meal-packing event. Together we were able to pack over 25,000 meals to help feed those in need. It humbles me to be a part of Kraft Heinz, a company that values community and whose members go above and beyond their roles make a difference in the world.
As we move into the following weeks, I am eager to continue learning about the different functional groups within the company. I can’t wait to experience all the exciting opportunities that this program has to offer in the next six months
